Jon "Bones" Jones vs Ciryl Gane for the UFC Heavyweight Championship has been officially announced for March 4th to Headline UFC 285 in Vegas. Jon was recently seen on video making these claims at his gym in Scottsdale, Fight Ready. Ariel Helwani has just released a video confirming that the fight is real. T-Mobile Arena was even seen with the announcement posted on the outside of the arena.
What more is there to say than LET'S GO! There is so much excitement and anticipation surrounding this fight. Jon is the greatest fighter to ever step inside an octagon. That's undisputed. Jon held the Light Heavyweight Division hostage from the moment he debuted. Cyril Gane is a rising star in the UFC. He has already fought for the title against Francis Ngannou. It didn't work out in his favor. However, Gane is such a technical fighter and has shown signs of excellence. He has obviously been much more active than Bones, but Jon is never to be doubted. Now bigger than ever at the Heavyweight max, 265 pounds, he might be unstoppable.
All in all, I can not wait for this fight! The countdown to UFC 285 has begun!
