With the UFC returning to the Octagon tonight for the first time in what feels like forever we're going to give you our locks for tonight's Fight Night. The odds you're going to see are all provided by Draftkings. The first fight on the main card is Umar Nurmagomedov (-850) vs Raoni Barcelos (+600). If you see the name Nurmagomedov on any fight card, it's a pretty safe play to throw them in any parlay. Yes, Nurmagomedov is the heavy favorite, but Umar is a beast. Umar is already the eleventh-ranked fighter in a stacked Bantamweight Division. He is undefeated professionally with fifteen wins inside the cage. Never bet against a Nurmagomedov.
The next fight on the card is a Women's Bantamweight brawl between the second and fifth-ranked fighters. Ketlen Vieira (-130) vs Raquel Pennington (+110). Though Pennington is on a five-fight win streak it is tough to bet against that thirteen-and-two record from Vieira, plus Vieira is on a two-fight win streak herself. We may be taking two favorites early, but once the parlay is built we'll be looking at good odds.
The next fight we are not going to touch. Soriano (-140) vs Kopylov (+120). Expect to see fireworks in this fight and expect a finish fast. If anything, maybe just sprinkle something on the fight to not go the distance. A first-minute finish has +1000 odds. It's a crazy play, but hey who knows?
Dan Ige (-130) vs Damon Jackson (+110) has interesting odds in my opinion. The way both men have been trending I'd say Damon Jackson wins via submission (+550). Taking Jackson straight up could be a much safer play, but I just see Jackson getting the sub here based on their last few fights.
Finally for the main event. Sean Strickland (+110) vs Nassourdine Imavov (-130). Due to the fact Strickland took the fight on short notice the weight class changed. Strickland is going to have at least an eleven-pound advantage over Imavov. If this fight was a Middleweight bout I'd say Imavov is probably the safe play, but it's not and Strickland weighed in at 205 compared to Imavov's 194. Say what you want about Sean Strickland, but he is one tough son-of-a-bitch. With an eleven-pound advantage, it is tough to see him going down.
So if you go with a parlay on Draftkings based on our picks you'd be looking at +772 odds. Nurmagomedov, Vieira, Jackson, and Strickland all moneyline. If you are crazy enough to go with our high-stakes play of Nurmagomedov ML, Vieira ML, Kopylov/Soriano first-minute finish, Jackson via Sub, and Strickland ML you would be looking at +29590. Sprinkling five bucks on that would add $1,484.51 to your bank account.
