UFC Fight Night: Blanchfield vs Andrade Picks and Locks!

Tomorrow night the UFC returns to the octagon for UFC Vegas 69: Blanchfield vs Andrade. Last week we went four for six at UFC 284. We went a little crazy with adding a method of victory for Jack Della Maddalena, otherwise, we would have been five for six. As always we have the DraftKings odds for the fights. Erin Blanchfield (+105) vs Jessica Andrade (-125) was originally supposed to be Blanchfield vs Talia Santos. Jessica Andrade is taking this fight on short notice. Andrade also fought less than a month ago at UFC 283 against Lauren Murphy. Andrade didn't take much damage against Murphy, she is currently the third-ranked fighter in the Women's Flyweight division. However, Erin has looked like an absolute freight train coming straight for Valentina Shevchenko's Flyweight Title. Erin dominated the hype train "Meatball" Molly McCann in her last bout at UFC 281 in November. She forced Molly to tap. Erin is on a seven-fight win streak and is currently the tenth-ranked Flyweight. Andrade is a huge step up in competition for Blanchfield and a win could send her straight to the title. I feel Erin is going to get the victory,

probably via submission (+450) or decision (+275), but we're going to take her money line (+105).

The first fight on the card we feel confident about picking is a prelim. Philipe Lins (-215) vs Ovince St. Preux (+185). Philipe Lins straight up is the lock of the night, to be honest. OSP has been on the way out the door for a long time now. His last fight happens to be a victory at UFC 274, but it was against Shogun Rua. Shogun just retired. OSP is old and he's slow. I hate to rag on the legend, but Philipe Lins has the potential to be a dangerous fighter. Lins is not the youngest either, but his last few fights getting canceled and this one against OSP is gonna happen tells me his hunger may be back. It's just hard to see OSP getting a win at this stage in the game in my opinion.

We only like taking one other fight on this card. Alex Hernandez (-215) vs Jim Miller (+185). I like taking Hernandez straight up. Jim Miller said he has lost it during an interview on the UFC Fight Night Preview Show. "I don't know if it was the old age or Lyme disease, but somewhere along the way I started to lose it." You hate to hear that from the legend, Jim Miller. That's also enough for me to pick Hernandez. Alex may have lost his last bout to Billy Quarantillo at UFC 282, but he put on a good performance till Billy Q was able to finish him at the end of the second round. Jim seems like the perfect fight to get Alex back in the win column and we're taking him at (-215).

So those are the picks. We recommend parlaying Blanchfield (+105), Hernandez (-215), and Lins (-215) for a total (+340) parlay odds. Jordan Wright (+230) vs Zac Pauga (-285) is honestly a very tempting fight to take as well. If you take Pauga, you wanna take him via TKO/KO/DQ (-165). On the other hand, if you take Jordan Wright, straight up is the play. Pauga via TKO/KO/DQ was originally going to be in the parlay. Then I discovered Jordan Wright had recently lost his mother. That is a tragedy, and I can no longer bet against Wright. This news also makes Wright (+230) tempting to throw into the parlay for (+1352) odds. Although Pauga is tough to bet against as well because, in his last bout against Mohammed Usman, he was winning the fight until Usman knocked him out. Whether you add Jordan Wright to the parlay or not, the main takeaway is Blanchfield (+105), Hernandez (-215), and Lins (-215) in a (+340) parlay!
